Es-cap-e !
Today the girls were playing outside and Shaw was sitting by the back door watching and playing with some toys. I heard a sound and looked down to see this.
Yup… he is escaping out the doggie door to play with his sisters outside.
“What mom? I just wanted to play outside.”
Notice his one knee is not on the ground… I think the concrete is a bit rough on his knees.
I’ve been waiting for him to figure out the doggie door. This was him a few days ago planning his escape.
Hold Your Horses
Jessica says, "Marinn you need to hold your horses"
Marinn, "Mom, we don't have any horses."
Jessica says, "It's a metaphor Marinn, it means you need to be patient."
Marinn pauses for a moment.
She says, "They are not coming out mom. My horses are not coming out."
Jessica giggles.

Houston... we have a tooth!
Shaw has a little tooth that just started poking through today.
You can barely see it there on the bottom right.
Capturing this picture took my mom tickling him while I took about 30 pictures of him squirming around. Needless to say it's a bit of a miracle we actually got one with his tooth showing that's in focus.
: )
Attention Wal-Mart Shoppers
Sophie... she's given in. She allowed Tearony and Marinn to push her around in the mini Wal-Mart cart today. Sooo funny!
A fun surprise!
The girls got a fun gift in the mail yesterday from the lovely Debbie Weigland.
The cuteness is just in endless supply.
Excuse the scraggly hair... they had just woken up from a nap after a day at the pool.
Shaw was excited about another toy to chew on : )
Our family is so blessed to have such sweet thoughtful friends. Thanks Debbie!
Old friends making new friends.
Some family friends from years ago came through town this past weekend. I haven't seen them in so long. It was nice to see them again and the kids got to meet them for the first time.
Teri, Richard, & Colten Dorchuck
The kids loved Richard's dad... Ron.
Shaw made a new friend : )
It was such a great time with old friends : )
